Rhinoplasty across New York City’s five boroughs

A SoHo street in Manhattan with cast-iron buildings and a wide crosswalk

Wherever you live in the city, the steps are the same: read the guides, send one short request with your ZIP code or neighborhood, and an independent surgeon’s office replies. Tell the office where you are and how far you are happy to travel for consultations and follow-up visits.

NYC Nose Job is a free referral service, not a clinic. It has no office of its own; requests go to independent surgeons’ offices in New York City.

Manhattan

Manhattan is New York County. Many surgical practices are on the Upper East Side, along Park, Fifth and Madison Avenues between roughly 59th and 96th Streets. Others are in Midtown and Midtown East, near Grand Central and Penn Station, and on the Upper West Side. Downtown, people look in Flatiron, NoMad, Union Square and Gramercy, and in SoHo, Tribeca, Chelsea and the Villages. Requests also come from the Financial District, Harlem and Washington Heights.

Brooklyn

Brooklyn is Kings County. Requests come from Williamsburg, Greenpoint, Downtown Brooklyn, Brooklyn Heights, DUMBO, Park Slope, Cobble Hill, Carroll Gardens, Bay Ridge, Bensonhurst, Sheepshead Bay, Bushwick and Crown Heights.

Queens

Queens is Queens County. Requests come from Long Island City, Astoria, Forest Hills, Flushing, Jackson Heights, Bayside, Rego Park and Jamaica.

The Bronx

The Bronx is Bronx County. Requests come from Riverdale, Pelham Bay, Throgs Neck, Fordham, Mott Haven and Parkchester.

Staten Island

Staten Island is Richmond County, reached by the Staten Island Ferry and the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge. Requests come from St. George, New Dorp, Great Kills, Tottenville, Todt Hill and Grant City.

Just outside the city

People also come from Long Island (Nassau and Suffolk Counties), Westchester County and northern New Jersey, including Jersey City, Hoboken and Fort Lee. If you live outside New York State, remember that a New York surgeon is licensed in New York: check the license on the NYSED Office of the Professions search.

Planning around surgery in the city

  • Cleveland Clinic says someone must drive you home after rhinoplasty and stay with you overnight, so plan that before you book.
  • Ask where your follow-up visits will be, since the splint usually comes off in the first 1 to 2 weeks.
  • Read the cost guide and the surgeon guide before your first consultation.

Wherever you are in the five boroughs, send one short request to an independent surgeon’s office.
